Meemaws Country Kitchen & Grille

I once talked to a women about places to eat in this area. She had told me that this place was her favorite, so I've been wanting to try it for awhile. The lady that runs this place is one of the nices people I've ever met. The atmosphere is perfect for this place. Charming old country vibe. As a added bonus the food was great and the prices were afforable.

1st time here and we will be back for more. Food portions were very generous to say the least. Pot Roast, and the NY Strip were delicious. The greenbeans were a little too peppery for our taste but all generous portions. Mashed potatoes were the real thing, big boxed mashed like other places. Macaroni salad was just like Grandma used to make. We even got chocolate cake to go and the slice didn't seem big enough to the owner, so she put in 2. Music was great, and we even had the cook adding his own flair to the songs. He seemed to enjoy himself. Please support small businesses like this one, as service, food, and atmosphere like you will find here are in short supply. One of the best kept secretes im the area, please spread the word.

A local favorite You know if they're open when they have cars in the parking lot at least that's what I was told. Halibut and it was absolutely phenomenal. The tomato cucumber onion salad however was a major disappointment I will know next time to never order that one again but overall the atmosphere was very quaint and cozy and comfortable I look forward to going again.

WOW! Mee Maw's was REAL homemade everything! I had strawberry pancakes with homemade strawberry sryup 😋. My husband had the bacon platter, which was 2 scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes and a side of biscuit and gravy. DELICIOUS doesn't do it justice but can't think of a better adjective to describe all the food! The owners were very friendly and attentive to the whole restaurant. We will be back! I want a piece of the homemade chocolate cake and banana pudding 😊 Please support these 'mom and pop' restaurants. They are the SOUL of America!

Really good home cooked meals. Salisbury steak potatoes and Green beans with gravy. I highly recommend this establishment
