Melecios Authentic Mexican Bar and Restaurant Lumberton

First time at this location but have always enjoyed their food. It’s a beautiful remodeled facility with a few oddities. The bar and restaurant are separated and with different operating hours. I had the steak fajitas and my wife had the chicken enchiladas. We ordered from the lunch menu so it was smaller portions which was fine. The waitress didn’t speak very good English but we managed. The fajitas were delicious but personally my peppers and onions could have been cooked a little more. It was a slow day for them but I imagine once everyone becomes more familiar with them being at this location business will increase. They’re located in the old Sears building on Fayetteville Road. Give them a try.

Pretty nice set up! Restaurant dining on one side. Cross the hall there's a bar and dance floor with more seating on the other side. The birria was excellent!

Very delicious shrimp 🍤 tacos and and wife pineapple 🍍 dish had, chicken, shrimp, steak, peppers etc! Very good lunch keep up the good work all of you!!!!

I visited the bar section and love it! The place was clean, received excellent service and the seafood bowl was fantastic. The DJ played a variety of genre of songs to add to the experience. There's space to dance if you want and this a big plus for me. They even have security! Isn't that wonderful? Thank you Melicios for doing business in Lumberton.

Initial impression is that the restuarant looks beautiful. It's small, but cute with plenty of seating. When we went in to be seated, the hostess ruined our first time experience with them. She only asked how many, started walking with the menus (No Silverware), and tossed them on the table. No follow me, no this is where you'll be sitting, no enjoy your food. Not another word, just rude. That's a complete turn off from the very beginning. The server was nice and as helpful as she could be. The food sucked. We went for the Birria Tacos and it was bland. I would not suggest those at all. We had to add salt to everything. My daughter had a quesadilla and the cheese wasn't melted. My husband had the Birria which were bland, and I had Carnitas that tasted ok, but I was missing all the garnish
