MeLisa The Pie Lady

My cousin who was visiting from California found this place when she came to visit cause she was craving something sweet. It is a little quaint place. The owner was super sweet. There are so many different choices of pies. My favorite one was the coconut cream one. We got a few others that everyone else liked. Will definitely be back for more.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I went in looking for a French silk pie for my wife, her absolute favorite. They were sold out, but Melissa still went out of her way to make a fresh one just for me. About an hour later, the pie was ready. My wife said it was hands down the best French silk pie she’s ever had. This place has such a warm, homely feel, you can tell everything is made with care. Melissa was incredibly kind and welcoming, and that personal touch makes all the difference. If you ever want a pie, this is the place to be. You truly can’t go wrong here.

It's so awesome that MeLisa has gluten-free pies and mini pies! I called and requested the turtle crunch. She didn't have any already made, but was able to put it together in just the time it took me to drive there. It tasted delicious. 100% will be going back.

I visited MeLisa the Pie Lady today with the expectation of finding sweet potato pies, but unfortunately, she doesn’t sell them. That was completely fine—the shop itself is very charming, and I appreciated the cozy, well-thought-out aesthetic. Since I was already there, I decided to try a different pie instead. Before purchasing, the lady working there made a comment that caught me off guard. She said, “You know this isn’t an area with a lot of AA people, so you won’t really find any sweet potato pies,” and she prefaced the statement by saying she didn’t mean it to sound prejudiced. At the time, I let her know I didn’t take offense. However, after reading some of the other reviews and seeing how paying customers were addressed in responses, I’m left wondering why it was even brought up. I

1 a good pie shop is hard to find. But Melissa has been able to make baking and running a business. I ask 2 questions about baking what was her fav pie to bake and what is the hardest to bake. She thought for a few seconds and replied I love baking them all. For the hardest she said all fruit pies. This told me that her love of baking knows no limit. The cherry pie was amazing not to sweet and not too tart. The crust was perfect. It will be in the rotation. We have several more to try but here's a deep and happy thank you for the pies.😄🍜🍜🧆 Just returned to my new addiction. The connut cream pie is to turn a bad day to one of turning a frown into a smile. Very smooth and silky taste, flavor and mix . I'm in ok I'm in love with pies,as I stated hard to find good pies.
