Mellow Mushroom Greenville

My family and I have been going to Mellow Mushroom all over the state of Georgia for 12 years now. This was our first time to Greenville, South Carolina and we invited our children and grandchildren to meet us at Mellow Mushroom. We had lunch, and the restaurant was close to 40% capacity. What surprised us was how non attentive the staff were. We got our drinks, but had to ask several times for refills. The salad my wife asked for took 25 minutes to arrive. Lastly the 2 medium pizza took 45 minutes, while other tables who arrived after us received their food in 15. I finally had to pull the "can I speak your manager " question and met with a pretty amazing regional manager who came from another location to assist the restaurant. She was attentive and addressed the issue appropriately.

When you walk in its straight funky and modern environment. I loved the pizza. I got the bbq chicken. My wife got the Buffalo chicken pizza. My friends got the pepperoni pizza and Buffalo pizza, they said it was amazing. Service was a little slow, but I'm not one to complain when the pizza was so good. 10 out of 10 would recommend.👌

We ordered take out. I myself wasn’t a huge fan of the pizza a so felt it was too dry. (My fault though because I ordered regular sauce, lol). My husband however really enjoyed Mellow Mushroom because they are one of the few that offer dairy/gluten free options. He was actually able to feel normal for once and partake in pizza night with us! And he seemed to really enjoy his pizza as well. So for that and the thought that MM puts in to serving all individuals- I had to give them 5stars. You guys out a smile on my husbands face- and for that I’m very grateful!

The restaurant had only like 4 tables…. Our server totally sucked! Had to snap a pic from across the restaurant. Since she never seemed to care about our table. Literally had to ask another server if that was our food waiting to be picked up. It was indeed our food. Had to ask for refills on our drinks 3 times. And she just didn’t care at all. WHAT A WASTE OF $103!

First time visiting here, what a fun restaurant, the decor inside is really cute, lots of space in here and the walls have fun sayings on them. We liked the spinach and artichoke dip, ordered a calzone and there was definitely enough for 2 to share. Everyone enjoyed their food and loved there was gluten free and vegan options here.
