Mellow Mushroom Jacksonville Beach

Had a great time! I took my newborn and went out with my sister and best friend and we got lots of food. All the food was amazing, pizzas made well and fast. Drinks were good, and the apps were REALLY good. The server was nice too, he had a huge party as soon as we came in but he was still fast and helped whenever we needed. My only wish was slightly cheaper cocktails but we cant have everything lol

Took over an hour to get a pizza to the table. During that time our waiter stopped by once to refill my drink. Resturant was not busy. Lots of open tables. Lots of take out. Manager eventually came by to say sorry. Pizza was OK, but could have had more toppings.

Recommendations include Kosmic Karma pie and Holy Shitake pie. I like their pan-style thin crispy crust, without a droop in the middle. The pizzas are light and you feel less guilty eating them. Kosmic Karma’s favorite bit is biting into a succulent grilled tomato. Holy Shitake has tons of umami that cuts through with the thick garlic aioli. It is my favorite go to spot reserved for pizza on special occasions. Overall vibe is that of a chilled out sports bar. Love the trippy decor. I really like visiting Mellow Mushroom.

I come to mellow mushroom like once a month. Normally I sit at the bar, but this time we had a larger party and sat at a table. I believe our servers name was Davion or Damian or something along those lines. A young spunky looking guy! He was so accommodating to us and even suggested we share pretzel bites which i’ve never had. They ended up being such a hit with the table that we had to take some of our pizza to go. Will for sure be ordering the pretzel bites again!

Christian and Summer, the manager were great. Our food got there quick and fast. It was hot. The place is absolutely spotless clean we enjoyed it. We’ll be back. The wine list is really very good.
