Mellow Mushroom Marietta - Shallowford

Each Mellow Mushroom has a different theme and vibe to it. This one was a little bit smaller but packed a punch with service and flavor. Our server was very cool, helpful, and always made sure that we had what we needed. I ordered the personal size pizza with one side potato and the other the house special. Everything tasted good. My partner got the taco pizza which I sampled and loved as well. There is plenty of parking as this is in a strip plaza.

This place is awesome. We came with a large group the first time and were taken care of really well. The food was fresh, the pizza was delicious, and the service stood out. We’ve been back several times since. I’ll be honest, a few people told me MM wasn’t that great, both in Alpharetta and in Rockwall, Texas. I’m really glad we gave it a shot because the pizza is unique and genuinely good. The classics like pepperoni are great, but the specialty pizzas are where it really shines. If you like mushrooms, the shiitake pizza is a must. Adding Italian sausage takes it to another level. The entire staff is great and has their own vibe, but I want to give a special shoutout to Arturo. Best Mellow Mushroom location I have ever visited. We go nearly once a week. The night shift pizza chef makes the best pie I've had at a restaurant! Thank you guys for always being so kind and making such great food!

Hey, guys... If you want some really good pizza, and I mean really good pizza, cause they're definitely not all created equal... You gotta go to Mellow Mushroom on Shallowford Road, in Marietta. My pizza and salad were SO tasty! And, I got to pair them with an adult beverage! 😁 Great food! Great service, even though they were packed! And, a nice cozy environment. I'll definitely be back! Next time, I'm trying a calzone! And, that sundae I couldn't order cause I was too full! Thanks, guys!

Very disappointing experience. I came in, ordered a pizza and drinks, paid for everything, and wanted to sit at a table to eat. The bartender refused to let me sit and told me I was “not a customer,” which makes absolutely no sense since I had just purchased food and drinks. The attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Staff clearly don’t know how to communicate with guests or handle a basic situation. We live nearby and expected a welcoming place, but this was the opposite. We will not be coming back and would not recommend this place to others.
