MeloMelo Coconut Dessert

We’re so happy Melo Melo finally opened a location in San Diego! We used to make trips down to LA just to get their coconut desserts, so it feels like such a treat to have them closer to home now. We tried a few new flavors this time, and every single one was delicious—light, refreshing, and not overly sweet. We love that there’s a wide range of flavors to choose from, so you never get bored. What really stands out is the texture: smooth, creamy, and so unique compared to other desserts. It’s the perfect treat when you want to indulge on some dessert but without the guilt! The store itself is clean and welcoming, and service was quick and friendly. Definitely a new go-to spot for us whenever we’re at UTC! Bonus—it’s dog friendly!!

I’ve heard about this place. Finally got to check it out. The space was clean and spacious. I like the peachy color. I ordered two Jasmine coconut. I believe there’s Jasmine green tea infused jello with coconut milk. I couldn’t taste Jasmine flavor from the jello but coconut milk was strong. This dessert was refreshing and not overly sweet. I see that they also have other toppings. I would try more but not with the set price. Each jar starts at $6.99 and up to $12.99. I think that’s a bit expensive for my taste. I ordered them to go so i got a cute little insulated bag so i guess the price covers that too lol This place is a 3.5 for me.

Update review- The best coconut jelly dessert ever! Their every flavor is very intense and delicious. My this time’s favorites are peach gelatin, taro and coffee latte. if you are a coffee fan, you have to try the coffee one, it is really really great. The store is clean and cozy, you can enjoy outside in the beautiful mall. The service is quick and friendly, I love this place! We tried a few new flavors at Melo Melo: Osmanthus Oolong, Rose Pistachio, Salted Egg Yolk, Nutella, Matcha, and Triple Coconut. This is located next to the movie theatre at UTC. We ordered t the counter and the young man behind the counter was very helpful. Bought 3 items and the 3rd item was 50% off. This is a dessert that’s very good. It’s not too sweet but tastes very good

Before, when there was no melomelo in San Diego, I would specially ask a proxy to buy it because it was indeed very popular. But when it opened near my home, I rarely went there. The store was decorated very beautifully. This time, I went with a friend to buy one to take home and eat. Actually, the taste was just like ordinary coconut jelly, very fresh, smooth, sweet and tender. The bottle was very nice and it was also a good gift. But at over ten dollars each, the cost performance was not high.
