I can't say enough good things about Menands Library! I'm consistently impressed by how much this small library offers. Their "Library of Things" is such a cool concept - collection of objects loaned instead of books and movies; examples range from an ice cream maker to an adaptive keyboard and trackball mouse. The staff is incredibly helpful, especially with research assistance and finding books through the interlibrary loan system. What I really appreciate is being part of the Upper Hudson Library System - it's amazing having access to so many libraries with just one card. The free NYT access is a fantastic perk that I use regularly. The quiet study areas are perfect for getting work done, and the Wi-Fi is reliable. Kids love their seasonal events and movie screenings.
