Customer Reviews
The Metro Diner in Palm Coast is clean and neat. The food is fresh and tasty. The service is friendly and efficient. I had avocado toast and two eggs. Everyone in our party enjoyed their brunch. There's ample free parking in the lot out front. The place is wheelchair accessible and kid friendly.
Menu has a very nice selection of food options. Everyone loved their breakfast. Very crispy and not greasy hash browns. A lot of cold brew and cold foam options. Several breakfast bowl options. A lot of pancake and waffle options. Several different options for bacon and sausage. No breakfast wrap options. Mimosa and beer options, and you can get flights of your choice. 4 seats in the countertop area. Shaded outdoor dining area. Paper towels in bathroom.
I am from ATL area and love to go to little know places. This is a great little diner. We got the chicken pot pie and chicken & eggs benedict. Both were VERY tasty. Generous portions and we even had left overs cause couldn’t eat all of the pot pie. Waitress was nice and great service too. Well worth it and would go again.
We didn’t have to wait to be seated inside. The table wasn’t wiped down from previous guests so we did have to wait for them to clean it. Service was prompt but she didn’t come back to check on us or ask how the food was. The fish & chips grease was VERY old. You could tell by how the fries & fish were cooked a dark brown instead of a golden brown & were grease laden. I’d give it 1 star for that dish. My eggs Benedict were good but for the price, the food should’ve been stellar as well as the service & cleanliness of the restaurant. We informed the waitress that they need to let the cook or manager know about the grease being old & needs changing. She just said, "she’d let them know". I doubt I’ll be returning here. I wasn’t impressed. I don’t like wasting my time or money (who does) on su
I had fried chicken with red skinned mashed potatoes and green beans, all was great. My wife had chicken pot pie and loved it, she was looking for peas though. Now homemade bread pudding, omg that’s great too. Highly recommend!
