Mexico Lindo

We stopped and have some happy hour food and couple drinks, we sat down in a booth. We were greeted by a server. Typically they will tell you what the sauces are when they give you the complementary chips, but they didn’t do that. We both got the combos which you get to choose three choices for one price of $17. The server asked us if we wanted cheese on our rice and beans, but she neglected to say that that was an extra dollar each. The rice was somewhat cold and the cheese was just draped on the top. We were going to get the burrito, but we realized it was over $13 it was overpriced with extras as much as $8. Just cut stomach a burrito for somewhere around $25? Me and my husband are from out of town and Google searched a Mexican restaurant near Great Lakes Crossing. We pulled into the parking lot on a Tuesday night at 9:40 pm and to our surprise, the parking lot had only one car. We entered the building and was amazed at how large the restaurant was. The hostess greatly us quickly and got us seated on the bar side. We were brought chips, salsa, and our drink order was taken. Shortly after, our server Benjamin approached us and the vibes were perfect. He was warm and inviting and took really good care of us. My husband ordered the Pozole and we enjoyed the barbacoa Botana Nacho to start. Serving sizes were huge! The soup did NOT disappoint. Tasted like someone’s mother was back in the kitchen. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First time here — we were greeted and seated right away. Clean, welcoming place with lots of great options. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive. My wife had the chicken fajita quesadilla, and I had the beef Burrito Lindo — both were delicious and came out fast. We’ll definitely be back!

It's been a few months since I've eaten at Mexico Lindo. Today I placed a carry out order. I was unaware if there has been any significant changes in management or ownership. But I strongly dislike the fact that the order i usually get has changed so dramatically. Additionally the salsa i loved and grew up enjoying has changed. I think this new salsa is awful, the old recipe was literally the sole purpose I would be a customer. The old salsa went on everything id eat for the most part. BRING BACK THE SALSA!!Additionally the fajitas my fiance usually gets weren't to their usual standard. The onions were practically raw and some were. Old Mexican restaurant staple on highland road! This is our classic Mexican restaurant standby which never disappoints. We got lunch specials, which were extremely delicious Highly recommend the deep fried tacos, beef or chicken.
