Mezcal

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We’ve been wanting to try Mezcal for a while now and finally had the chance last night — and we’re so glad we did! The complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and absolutely delicious. Our waiter, Armando, was fantastic — respectful, courteous, and very attentive throughout our meal. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor and tasted incredibly fresh. Even with the restaurant being fairly busy, our food came out surprisingly fast, which we really appreciated. We’ll definitely be back to Mezcal for more of their amazing, authentic Mexican specialties. Thank you again, Armando, for the great service!

Please bring back your bartender. We went on Feb 14 - margaritas were amazing. Returned last weekend and terrible… absolutely terrible. The server was really good about fixing the issue especially when the drinks didn’t get served until the end of the meal. The food was meh this time too. We really love it here so please bring back the quality staff.

Second and last time I will ever eat here. Came in for lunch, sat at the bar, only 2 other tables were seated. Had to wait 10 minutes to even be acknowledged by the waitstaff, had to grab our own menus too. When our waitress Demi finally asked us what we wanted to order, we asked for 2 margaritas with salt and put in our food order. She put the margaritas down and promptly disappeared into the back for 15 minutes; shocker - no salt on the margaritas and they tasted like straight lime-ade. We sent them back by flagging down another employee. Once our waitress finally returned with our food, we asked for silverware; she went to the hostess stand and proceeded to chat with her coworker. My husband got up after a minute to get the silverware himself, and she said she’d forgot. No apologies. T

Such a great place, my biggest complaint is that I was charged 2x for my tip. Once they bring you your bill, it is on this little digital machine and when you see your transaction, it doesn’t show that the tip is already included in at 20% so my waiter was tipped 20% plus twice so a $17 meal came to $33 because I was giving him extra tip because it was a new establishment. The food came out fast and it was good. I like the chips are fresh and they’re not greasy and it’s beautifully decorated and painted and the managers were super sweet and came up to the table to ask how Service was multiple times our server was super kind. This place has so much potential with its location and atmosphere. However… the food truly was not up to my expectations. The chips were fresh and hot, and salsa was great. However the $8.50 cup of queso was watery and seems like the same low effort, bought in bulk queso every other low-end Mexican restaurant buys. I ordered the chimichangas and we also got carnitas and a taco / quesadilla combo. Unfortunately the taco was cold and the chicken that is in the chimichangas looks like unseasoned shredded chicken. I really just expected more. Even the refried beans and rice were off putting. The beans had this bizarre spice taste that I’ve never experienced before and the rice was simply mediocre with its seasoning. I will say it was very fresh and moist rice so I’ll give points for that.
