Mi Casa Grill

I usually come to Mi Casa Grill for their brunch, but this was the first time I came in for their Happy Hour. The plates and drinks are colorful and have an elevated flavor. While not a big place, they were able to accommodate our party of 10 (with advanced reservations). The small staff busted their butts, taking drink and food orders. I almost long fingers taking these photos - everything was made to order, hot, and delicious.

Food was okay. Im a big mole fan and this one was good but I can taste reheated/microwaved food. Didn't even come with the tortillas till I was almost done (I had to ask for them). The plates were really hot but the food wasn't. The chilaquiles were really good. Tortilla was crispy. However, I orderd the Cuban Benny and they came out late and with the wrong sauce. Super tiny. I told the guy that I wanted the Chipotle sauce not the original hollandaise sauce. He asked if I wanted it "on the side or on top" and I told him I didnt want any sauce but the Chipotle. He said "so redo it"? Yes pls was my answer. THEY JUST WASHED THE SAUCE OFF AND PUT CHIPOTLE SAUCE ON IT. I HAVE BEFORE N AFTER PICS AND THEY JUST ADDED MORE POTATOES. NOT RETURNING.

The quality of food is okay. It is in tasty side, yet a little bit pricier than a casual dining place. The atmosphere is good and is a cute place.

This is my brother-in-law's go to Mexican restaurant. While visiting, we went on my first night in town. Street parking is readily available, and it wasn't busy the night before Thanksgiving. The food was fresh and plentiful. My brother-in-law always has leftovers no matter what he orders! The tables are clean and the food seems freshly prepared. The guacamole was delicious, and the chips were definitely made in-house! The portions were large and you won't go hungry dining at this place. I don't eat a lot of Mexican but this restaurant would make me change my mind if it was closer to where I lived.

This is my second time coming here, but to actually dine in. I came here before for a drink, which btw, the drinks look and taste delicious. The place is really nice inside, clean looking and bright. The server was nice and very attentive. We came during the lunch rush. We ordered the nachos with pollo asado, sopes (pollo and al pastor) and an HorchaLatte. The nacho portion was large and filling. We asked for a side of their habanero salsa which was 😋😋😋 The sopes were cooked perfectly and had all the right flavors. The Horchatta Latte was delicious, it's really the Horchatta. Next time I'll add a shot of espresso to really make it kick. Over all it was a good experience. Lots of light inside and good service. We will be back, especially for the brunch menu!
