Mi Casa Mexican Restaurant Plant City

I work in Plant City and decided to try this place with my husband. The food was good and the service was mediocre, but what happened at the end completely ruined the entire experience. My husband asked for some cilantro. Our server brought out a small container of it (see picture) and never said a word about there being a charge. When the bill came, we noticed we were charged $0.99 for it. Let me be clear: I do NOT care about the $0.99. What I care about is basic honesty and transparency. If you’re going to charge customers for something, tell them ahead of time. When Lupe (who was not even our server) came to grab our credit card, I politely asked about it. We really like this place. From the friendly faces to the delicious food. My dad loves the Bahama mama and enchiladas! My favorites are the chicken fajitas with refried beans and rice and the beef quesadilla. The complimentary chips and salsa have always been fresh. Only downside is that the waitresses are working with too many tables at once causing service to be a little slower at times, but they're still all very friendly.

Fajitas are good as well as enchiladas. Service is good and mostly quick. Tres leches was good too. They have a small bar to spice things up. Fairly large place to accommodate many. Cancun wrap was good. Tres leches was average

Yolanda D. was our server, she was great. We had to get served quick because we had another event within 60min. She understood and did a magnificent job of getting our order and the meal, check all soonest! We'll come back soon. Parking in the strip mall was congested...not the restaurants fault. BTW: Love decorative wood benches inside...any idea where I can get the same? KH
