An unexpectedly beautiful moment 🤍 While staying at the hotel, we decided to go eat on December 12 at Mi Casa Tequila Taqueria, located inside Rosen Shingle Creek Resort, and what started as a simple meal during our stay turned into a memory we’ll never forget. The food was absolutely delicious. The nachos were perfectly crispy with a subtle lemony touch. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful. The quesadillas were on another level; I ordered the chicken, while my friend and daughter had the beef, and all of them were amazing. The service is what truly stood out. Thanks to my friend, who casually mentioned it was my daughter’s birthday, the staff surprised us with a piece of cake that honestly blew us away. Very disappointing experience overall. I honestly don’t understand how this place has a 4-star rating. The food had very little flavor. The only things that were decent were the tortillas and the guacamole — the rest was a complete miss. Service didn’t help either. A drink I ordered never came, and the explanation was that there was no bartender. This was around 1pm and the restaurant was almost empty, which made it even more confusing. Overall, not a good experience and definitely not a place I would recommend.

Quite nice tacos, but think I will try the chicken tacos next time. Great place to eat and relax.

Excellent Guacamole, excellent fajitas, the best ever Mango Classic Margarita slushy with tajin and excellent service! The food was fresh and delicious, the staff was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Was shocked to find such amazing Mexican food in a hotel! We’ve been here back in 2023 when staying at Rosen Shingle and Mi Casa was a big motivator for us to come back 2 years later to stay at Rosen. The queso fundido was a generous shareable portion. So flavorful and cheesy and the chips were fried to perfection. The birria tacos were outstanding. The meat was so flavorful and you didn’t even need the consume, where other places rely on it. The fish tacos were large and fresh. Service was great and our waiter gave us great recommendations and let my husband sample beers before choosing one.
