Mi Guatemala Restaurant

Great service and SO MUCH FOOD. We did not expect the quantity to be so much. The burrito(they call it taco) was so big. I had it for 3 meals. Their sauce with the nachos was amazing! My friend tried the margarita with Corona. He said it was amazing. Very good service and the vibe was fun.

Authentic and delicious Guatemalan cuisine. The restaurant can get quite busy, and service may feel a bit scattered at times, which is understandable given the volume. The space is relatively small—I do hope they consider expanding in the future. That said, the food is truly outstanding! 🇬🇹😋

6/15/24@12pmish —I took my friend to a Guatemalan restaurant to distract her mind. She has paused her apartment hunting until her mom in Guatemala fully recovers. Thank God, her mom is back home and well. My friend and I visited this restaurant over 10 years ago. Seeing the reviews, I decided to try this place again. There is parking on the side of the restaurant and also on the other side, but there are no signs indicating that there is another front entry. This is the side that still has dirt parking. Additionally, it seemed to me that there was no way to get out through it; I didn't notice that they had paved a decline with asphalt. Update Came in for breakfast, food was good, friendly staff and fast service. First time coming here, was unable to make a reservation ahead of time, waited for 1 1/2 hours for two tables, heard so many great things about Mi Guatemala. Staff was very nice and friendly, clean restaurant, bathrooms were very small. The food looked good but i was not impressed on the rice and beans, my churrasco-steak was really good as well as the side of soup and salad that it came with. The horchata drink was good. The tortillas were also good- handmade. Atmosphere was good, very decorative, family friendly. Lively atmosphere and cheerful decor. Went on a Thursday night at 9pm. Full menu being served! We got appetizers, entrees, beers and a cocktail. Spent about 25 per person. Ate family style off of supreme grill entree, stuffed peppers, tacos and pupusas. Fed a family of 4 and had plenty! I mean plenty to take home and eat the next day. I say this all the time. Guatemalan cuisine us overlooked!
