Mi Nueva Bonanza Bakery & Restaurant

This place made space for us despite a big group already being in the restaurant on a busy night. It’s an airy and bright Colombian place with friendly staff. The food is excellent - my bandeja paisa was generous and tasty, topped off nicely by the beans and a runny egg. We took home some fluffy buñuelos and pandebonos too which were the best we’ve tried in Brooklyn. A great local spot.

Friendly staff and a clean, spacious restaurant. I’m so happy to have a Colombian bakery in this neighborhood. Everything tastes fresh, not frozen, which really sets it apart from many other bakeries. The buñuelos are huge and delicious! My favorites are the empanadas de carne, buñuelos, almojábanas, the arepa with melted cheese, and the coffee, which is excellent.

Came here two different times. The pan de bono and arepa were super delicious. I came here for a second time to get breakfast which I got an arepa con queso con salchicha and a mora en leche batido. The arepa was a little burnt on a few sides but it was still pretty good. The batido de mora was also very good. The staff was nice. Definitely will be coming here more often.

So far I’ve eaten here twice but this was my first time coming inside the restaurant. The lady in the front was extremely polite and welcoming! The food was surprisingly really good I’ve had Colombian food before but I was suprised how tasty the bandeja paisa I ordered was. The food was very moist and flavorful definitely fresh! I think this is an excellent edition to the neighborhood. I ordered my food to go I ordered 2 meals and 1 appetizer and it took about 15 minutes which is very reasonable. They also have a good amount of different Colombian soft drinks I haven’t seen before.

I love this place - a slice of Colombia in Glendale! It's only been open a few months but I've eaten here a bunch of times. The empanadas are divine, the best I've had anywhere! The plates are tasty with very generous portions. I love the soup of the day and the Colombia coffee and juice smoothies hit just right! Staff is super friendly and accommodating of any needs. It is a true bilingual hangout where you can practice your Spanish if you so desire. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get a taste of South America. This beats everything else in the area!
