Mi Ranchito

The smell of charcoal is in the air. Seafood seems to be a staple of the menu. I had seafood it was very fresh. The guacamole made fresh served with chicharons. The pickled onions are good. Service was alright. Once our food came, we didn't see our server.

Mi Ranchito in Rohnert Park is amazing! The food is always delicious, portions are generous, and the staff is super friendly. My favorite dish is the Camarones a Relleno — absolutely delicious every time! Highly recommend!

Let me start by saying the service was great! The staff was friendly and very efficient. The decorations and music was great I found the playlist very fun and modern. Like other people have mentioned, it is quite loud in there. The food was unfortunately, not that great. The presentation of the food was great but the food itself wasn't good. I honestly can't pinpoint exactly what the food was lacking. The rice and beans served we're quite frankly, the worst I've had ever. The rice texture felt odd made me wonder if it wasn't cooked properly. The beans weren't that great, too hard and lacked flavor. I really wanted to like this restaurant but the food was just not that great.

In the days before I Yelped, I went to college at SSU, right down the street from Mi Ranchito. Let me tell you, this was the place to be on a Sunday morning right after a festive night before. Cotati is such a charming town next to RoPo, and this spot is a favorite of mine. I visited some college friends here not too long ago and it brought back a flood of great memories. The interior has been tastefully redone with vibrant colors. Parking is vast, dirt or grass, you won’t have a problem. I ordered many things over the years, but most recently the shrimp tacos were my choice this time. Very good! Complimentary bottomless chips and savory salsa are always great, and their house margaritas are also just right. The waitstaff are both friendly and attentive, happy to answer any questions. Than

Let's just say the best part of the food for me was the chips n salsa. My camarones al mojo de ajo was just ok. The service was fine, and the ambiance was fitting for a Mexican restaurant.
