The best seafood soup I have ever eaten!!! I could not stop raving to my colleagues about this place afterwards. Lots of various seafood items (shrimp, clams, crab, fish) - there was probably 300 g of protein if not 400 g in a delicious broth. Soup came with yellow rice on a side and freshly baked corn tortilla. I have never liked corn tortilla before this one (prefer the ones made from flour). The portion was $20, but it was two lunches for me. It took about 15 minutes to arrive once I placed an order so you need to have at least one hour for this place. I will be going back to try the other menu items.
Came in here on father’s day later at night maybe 8pm. Never been here before and found this restaurant using google, reviews were around 3.9 and decided to take a chance. First off the decor is actually very pleasant and place seemed pretty clean. We, 4 of us, came in and sat down and maybe 2 minutes after sitting down we were greeted by a wait staff. She was overly very pleasant, younger Colombian woman. She took our order and it took a decent time since it was pretty busy but nothing super long. Got our food on time with plates all being hot. I tried a typical platter with rice bean mix, cheese, pico de gallo, flank steak and a sausage. I loved everything but about the only thing that I did not really like was the sausage, it seemed a little tasteless. Steak was very soft and well s
Pupusas, tamal, atol de elote. Good food, good price. Very nice waitress and man at the checkout.
Pupusas and caldo de pollo right on point. Great service. Very satisfying.
On my way home from shopping on Jamaica Avenue I came access this place and decided to go in. The owner came over to greet me. The menu was written in English and Spanish. The food was cooked to order. When the oversize plate was brought to me it was loaded with food. Delicious the food was and the chicken so soft. That was the best corn tortilla I ever had because it was soft, thick and tasted like corn. I asked the owner for something to drink from his country and he brought over to my table a very sweet soda that I enjoyed. Even though I was full I wanted desert so the owner picked out, packed something for me to take home. That was very tasty also. I definitely recommend this place if your looking for home cooked foods at a good price. I will go back next time I go shopping on Jama
