Updated 8/21/2024 Sadly no longer my fav go-to place. Used to be great food good service, now they lack flavors and the last 3 times I went they served me stale rice and salty food, charged me ridiculous additional fee for to-go container. 🥲 Had the beef rib soup, good portion, she gave me plenty of veggies, 2 pcs of beef and the soup taste homey but salty. The rice came with it was soft and nice. Yum. Seems like a spot well loved by local families.

Delicious authentic Ecuadorian food! Right by the park so you can either work up an appetite or walk off the calories 😂 clean, enough seating (4-5 tables with 4 chairs each). They can’t handle busy-ness well, though - short staffed. I came around 9am when they opened and it was great, but around 10am when it was filling up, it took about a half hour to get my check, swipe my card, and get my to go container. Humita is soooo good!! 🔥 most affordable breakfast item. I forgot to take a pic of my food but I got the carne asada - plain white rice, beans, and flat steak. It was okay compared to what else they had to offer. My partner’s tigrilla was amazing!!

When they first open this place was great the food was good but now they raise their prizes and the food is terrible the lunch special is expensive and very poor the service needs improvement I stop going there

Service is better if maybe taking things to go. Waitress doesn't come around to clear the table or ask if we are ok or bring us the check. If we don't get up and ask for the check, who knows how long we would be there. Also, lunch offerings are ok and soups are good, and so is the amount but not for the Plato Fuente or main dish. It's ok for a child or a female watching her figure, but not if you're hungry. Humitas are good. Last time we went, I think they were fresher than previous visits.

I went to this place for a pick up.. I ordered a encebollado soup and a yapingacho. The soup had no flavor and it was mostly liquid with some small pieces of tuna. We didn't like at all. The fritada was a tasteless piece of rubber. When I called them to complain instead of apologizing , they hang up on me, very disappointed. Don't waste your money, this place is not worth it.
