Michael Deli & Grill

It's very different from what's shown in the photos; the food is cold and poorly prepared. I don't recommend this place.

This is a hidden gem in Elmhurst, if you drove past it, it may appear like any other deli. It is not. Run by two brothers, Rogelio and Miguel, they have some of the most authentic Mexican food I've found in the area. Serving up authentic barbacoa, tostadas, tacos and more. They also are well stocked in Mexican groceries. Their portions are immense and flavors on point. Make sure to come in and try this place, you won't be disappointed for sure.

First of all I’d like to say, if you haven’t tried their tacos you’re missing out on life. I absolutely love and frequent the deli because I am heavily addicted to their steak tacos, and for breakfast I often get the bagels/ coffee Every-time Im greeted with a positive attitude, amazing friendly service and they’re always super professional. The place is kept extremely clean, organized, and the variety of foods, snacks and groceries is plenty. I absolutely love the guys who work there and they’ve become family. Highly recommend!

I give one star because the French fries was good. I ordered chicken wings as well they hurried the cooking process, it wasn’t well done. The entire wings was raw it had no season on it when I took a bite I had to spit it out and throw up after. . I didn’t get to return to the deli I call them a lot of times to ensure nobody else get this experience, they keep cutting the calls off or sometimes they acted as if they wasn’t hearing me. It’s a deli I always look forward going to and I’m always spending my money there, so for them not to have a care in the world about my experience I’ll never support them again. I felt disrespected because I was calling to rectify the situation and the ignored.

This place is famous for their massive cemitas! So delicious and made with love🥰The food is so underrated! They also have a selection of my favorite Mexican snacks/sodas I grew up with. We had the cemitas de milanesa de pollo with everything, and the outdoor area is so cool😆
