Michigan Creamery

Absolutely worth the wait! I originally wanted to stop by in the afternoon, but the line was out the door. I came back later and still waited about 20 minutes—but it was totally worth it. Inside, the atmosphere was joyful—kids and adults alike were all smiling with ice cream in hand. I got a cone with a scoop of Deer Traxx (vanilla ice cream with a fudge swirl and peanut butter cups), and it was hands down one of the best ice creams I’ve ever had. Perfectly creamy and rich, not overly sweet, and the chocolate and fudge added depth and texture in every bite. The whole shop has a fun, lively vibe, and the view of the State Theatre marquee through the window just adds to the charm. I’m so glad I decided to stick it out and try it—it definitely lived up to the hype.

So good. I got the custard soft serve. Everyone else got the ice cream and sorbet. It was delicious and the kids loved drawing on the chalk wall.

I simply love this place. Their ice cream is so great. So many different flavors are available. People who work there are so kind and friendly. The best part of this place is location. Practically right next to Michigan and State movie theater. After the movie, eat in some restaurants in that area but skip the dessert, for dessert come to Michigan Creamery.

It is such a cute ice cream place on Michigan's central campus. We tried coffee and butter peacan flavored ice cream and they were delicious! The interior is really cute. Friendly staff. Stop by if you want some ice cream that will make you feel happy!
