Middle Township Department of Public Works

Been calling about a big pothole on my street for a while and nothing has been done. I guess my street is not important for the city of middle township public works. It’s funny how the city raised my taxes (double of what I was paying) and they just ignore my calls or no call back when I leave voicemails about my situation. Maybe they just love to ignore people from the Whitesboro area.

Just wanted to give a shout-out to the Middle Township Department of Public Works! Seriously, you guys are doing amazing work. The responsiveness and efficiency are truly impressive. I'm so grateful for everything you do to keep our town running smoothly. Keep up the fantastic job!

Tuesday night during the snow storm a plow accidentally knocked down our mailbox. We noticed and called our public works Wednesday morning. Thursday morning they repaired our mailbox and Friday morning they were back to finish the job. Just a shout out from Sand Castle!! Thank you very much!! Great Job!!

The sand berm at the end of our road, which separates the road from the beach/bay had been washed into the road. This created a problem with vehicles getting stuck in the sand while parking to walk the bay and my husband having to shovel them out. I called the public works department and spoke with Dawn about the situation who was going to bring it to the attention of her supervisor. Within 25 minutes a backhoe appeared and rearranged the sand to a safe barrier between road and bay! Thank you so much for such an amazingly timely response!

Would give no stars if possible. I've been ignored repeatedly by everyone in this office. Our street has horrible gouges all down it, and I've been trying for well over a year to get it fixed. Huge trucks drive by constantly and shake our house and sound like explosions in front of our son's window. Also, nobody respects the speed limit. No help, no assistance, just ignored. Worst township ever, don't move here.
