What a wonderful surprise in downtown New Haven! While walking around, I stumbled upon Midpoint Turkish Restsurant and decided to stop in — and I’m so glad I did. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The falafel was perfectly crisp on the outside and tender inside. The mücver (zucchini fritters) were light and aromatic, and the baba ganoush had that delicious smoky depth that makes it truly authentic. Pairing it all with Turkish wine made the experience even more special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the whole meal felt both comforting and refined. It’s always a treat to discover a place that combines quality, authenticity, and hospitality so effortlessly. I’ll definitely be back!

We are walking by and saw the sandwich board and out front for coffee. We popped in at that's two delicious coffees to go. I didn't have the food but the place in the fantastic. In the staff was super friendly.

We went there on a Tuesday late afternoon and we were a party of 6 and with a baby. They only have indoor seatings. The food was good and with regular portions. Service was attentive. I highly recommend their chicken shish.

Good: Service, atmosphere, and location are great and invite you in. Very nice for a cosy conversation. Food: got the mixed platter, meat was cooked well but no sauce or seasonings in anything including salt so was disappointed for $45 entree. “Mid” at best. Real Turkish tea not available. The manti was pretty good. Hummus was fine, decent quality as well. If you want a good looking place with okay food, it’s “fine”. You’ll come hungry and leave okay. I’d like to see the place improve on meat seasonings and options. Leaves much to be desired.

As a first time customer I decided to order the mixed grill platter for my wife and I (note: menu says serves 2 people). If this dish is indicative of the rest of the food here at Arya, my suggestion would be not to waste your money here. The food portions were small, and the food extremely overpriced. I paid $48 and change for the mixed grill platter that was only enough to feed one adult and one child. The food was extremely bland as it lacked spices and flavor. I have visited the beautiful country of Turkey many times and have been to many turkish restaurants here in the states. This one was by far the worst in terms of portion size, flavor, and cost. Do not recommend.
