Mike's Seafood of Ocean City

I’m not sure if this is owned by the same place is Sea Isle but if so… they are night & day. The one in Sea Isle is SO GOOD. We were so excited & were sadly super disappointed with this place. Got the islander fried combo - everything single thing was bland & flavorless. The scallops & flounder (overcooked), & the shrimp - tasteless. The crab cake had crab meat in it, you could visually see it, but the cake itself oddly didn’t have any flavor of crab.. it was just mush super bizarre. Also ordered the mussels - they were not cleaned properly/not debearded. The described “garlic butter white wine sauce” it came with - had zero taste of garlic or white wine in the sauce.. it was legitimately just melted butter.

A Disgraceful Rip-Off: Mike's Seafood is Ocean City's Worst Save your money and your appetite, because Mike's Seafood in Ocean City, NJ, is a disgraceful rip-off. I'm not just disappointed; I'm disgusted by the sheer audacity of this place to serve such garbage while charging exorbitant prices. Don't fall for the delusion that being "at the shore" means you'll get anything remotely special here. This isn't a seafood restaurant; it's a glorified operation in reheating food from a food delivery service, completely devoid of any freshness or flavor. The value proposition here is insulting. Imagine paying $25 for a plate of the exact same frozen fish you could pull out of the freezer aisle at ACME, alongside a pitiful handful of cold, stubby fries and a measly, two-bite container of coleslaw

This memorial day has been shadowed with rain and wind. Luckily, Mike’s Seafood of Ocean City saved this holiday. I took my family to this established yesterday and the sweet young lady at the counter took our order. She was patient and even talked me into getting the lobster ravioli. Even though this is the busiest weekend in Ocean City, my family was met with quick service. Our meals were hot and cooked with love. Now, this lobster ravioli made my taste buds dance. I wish this dish was on the menu all year round because it was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend Mike’s Seafood of Ocean City to anyone who is looking for a tasty meal.

We dine outside and sat at the tops. The food was delicious!! I got the islander combo I loved everything except for the crab cake but every bite of the rest of the meal was so good

Wonderful service! My food was ready in 10 minutes. The guy who took my order complimented my shirt. The only thing I would suggest would be to add utensils and napkins in the bags. I wasn't sure if I was going to eat there or take it with me but I decided at the last second to take it with me so it wasn't his fault. The shrimp were HUGE and so good! Same with the crab legs. I wanted crab legs so bad but all of the other restaurants in OC only had crab cakes or lump crab stuff. I'm so glad I found this place.
