What a special place. Really friendly people, big portions, and really reasonable prices. It just feels like a family place. There are so many big chains around here with bland tasting food. The meal was delicious and the people were friendly, including customers. It’s in a really pretty and quiet part of town. I felt really welcome here.

Amazing hoagies and friendly people. There's an older gentleman there that was super kind to help me back my 23 foot toy haulwr out onto the road due to the way I pulled in and a bumpers across the street. Definitely recommend the creamsicle flavored milk that is from a local farm!

This small place in an even smaller town is quite nice. The salads are humongous and well worth the money. The staff is friendly and attentive. They put the vegetables on the bottom of their subs which is different but they're still delicious.

The Milroy deli was a pleasant surprise. I found it on Google maps while at the local ballpark. The outside looks to have been recently painted. When I walked in, there was a dining area, a deli counter, it's not much to look at, but like any good sandwich shop, the magic happens when you take a bite. I ordered a sub and a steak salad for my wife. The service was friendly and helpful, a small town vibe. I took mine to go and was very pleased when I took a bite. The sub had lots of meat, it seemed like it was freshly sliced and a great blend of flavors. The salad was too much for my wife to finish, lots of toppings, it was better than we expected for a very simple deli. The service was quick and polite and my interactions with the staff were so personable. The Italian hoagie had the best flavor and lots of cold cuts. I loved my chicken cheese steak, the bread was so soft and fluffy and the meat plentiful and tender and the 12" is huge by the way! Great prices and not a far drive from State College if you just want a great sandwich.
