Milwaukee Public Library Mitchell Street Branch

I absolutely love the place. I am a high school student who goes there to do my homework. It is very quiet and peaceful. The staff are super kind and helpful.

Great library! So artsy & full of life. Your Move MKE (hip hop chess club) recently had an event in their makers space (lower level). It was our first time visiting the space & we absolutely loved it. It was so neat to see the amazing things created here. Such a fun building!!! Come see this vibrant & pretty library for yourself.

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff (pueden hablar español). Set inside a pretty and historic building. There are common dishes here to hangout in. Computers to use. Printers to use. And plenty of books to read.

Had a great laugh the other day, needed to use the washroom and as I opened the stall door there was a pantless sleeping man inside. Walked right back out quickly and quietly and let him rest 😁 god knows he was exhausted

Children fill the library from school and get loud in the afternoon. The Printer and PCs are too far apart. They no longer have the Withdrawal DVD''s & withdrawal Audio books for sale which was a good way to purchase favorite movies & audio books. I hope this option returns.
