Mimi's Cafe

Located on the corner of Day St. and Campus Pkwy. with plenty of parking. We've enjoyed Mimi's for many years now and continue having a good experience at this location. The restaurant is clean and organized with a full-sized bar and an outside seating set-up (although I've never seen customers dining outside). On this past visit, I tried their 'Jambalaya' served over rice. It was really tasty and fresh. We added 'Six Carrot Raisin Nut Madeleines' to our bread basket which was a great idea. Their menu consists of 'Burgers, Sandwiches, Salads, Steaks, Salmon, Chicken Pot-Pie, Pasta, Soups, All-Day Breakfast, and more'. Prices are fair and portions are generous. Service was great. Thank you for the service! The French dip was actually really good, which I'm glad about ! Not a lot of people make them and actually serve them well The kids linguini is really well made, the sauce it's hearty and with good flavor Ps. Thank you for the cute "dirt" cup!

I took my mother here and we had some amazing food she ordered fish I ordered the chicken strips for an appetizers and I also ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with five cheeses... The food was so good I had to go back again 3 days later and I actually as someone who has not eaten fish for 30 years took a bite of my mom's dish and it was amazing It tastes so good.. and I've also added the picture of the beef dip sandwich that she got the next time we went down there...UPDATE: I went there today September 12th and I want to say that Grace is amazing I love when she's working and so is Steven he's so nice very kind had such a great time the food is so so good I was craving it so much and I'm never disappointed

They had vegetarian patty options for every burgers so I was really excited and food looked really great visually. Unfortunately it was really bad I had one bite and nope . Taste: hard to describe patty tasted like plastic and looked closed maybe in freezer for long.🤷‍♀️ I do understand not many people order vegetarian patty soo hard to maintain but was really disappointing. I am vegetarian so I am not sure what other foods taste like but it definitely looked great and place itself cute. Just don’t order vegetarian options.
