((4.50 stars)) the chicken empanada here is very good. got one that was freshly made one. the empanada's exterior is flaky crispy outer layer. the empanada is filled to the brim with moist seasoned chicken, herbs, sautéed onions, and more. most empanadas can be be deflated or under-filled, but not the ones at Mini Gourmet Deli as their empanadas are warm pockets of savory chicken deliciousness. the empanada can be found at a tiny small storefront with an order window--no seats just a window for grab-n-go. had the beef empanada and that was good but the chicken is where it's at (they also serve chicken + cheese and beef + cheese, haven't had either of those). the small eatery also serves a variety of juices and smoothies as well as a few sandwich options. the empanada is such a satisfying

I was passing by and needed a quick bite. I ordered the chicken empanada for $3 which turned out to be sooo delicious and juicy. It has a crispy exterior and has veggies on the inside. It's also dairy free! I'm looking forward to trying their other foods next time.

Really good $5 chicken sandwich with 2 perfectly fried chicken Patties and lettuce pickles mayo. Order at the window takeout only. Came back later after trying the sandwich for a smoothie which was also delicious, large was $8 Came back and got an açaí bowl for $10 it was very good fresh fruit granola and coconut shavings on top.

Friendly service with a good variety of snacks at affordable prices. I love the smoothies here but the chicken empanada is too dry sometimes and the beef empanada I ordered had very little meat inside, unlike the pictures from other reviews here.
