Mint Leaf Thai Cuisine

One of the yummiest preparations I have had! We ordered - drunken noodles, orange chicken, fried rolls, iced tea and thai tea. Drunken noodles and orange chicken were drooling and so authentic! Everything was super freshly prepared and had a good portion size. Thai tea was also good. Iced tea, i did not really find it that good, would skip on it the next time i visit this place. Rolls were absolutely on point and tasted amazingg! Ambience was also good, the best part is its location! We went for a cruise and when searching for some good thai food around, we came across this one! Also, you might want to park in the beach parking as it’s really tough to secure a parking on the majn road. Server was very polite and the service was also really quick! Overall, a decent experience for the price.

My boyfriend and I have been trying to find and try Thai restaurants all over the place. We live in the high desert so we tried Mint Leaf during a beach trip. This food was amazing! We get Tom Yum soup and chicken fried rice every time and the food here was great! Sooo flavorful and authentic. We tried Thai tea and it was delicious. The service was also nice. We will definitely be back every time we are in Newport Beach!

I’m spending the day with Dr at Newport and we made a reservation to this small place very cozy’ place , very chill. The food is fantastic!!! Very tasty We enjoyed a nice dinner We ordered a lot of different appetizers and dishes and the everything was soooo delicious! And their house peanuts sauce was so tasty I don’t remember names for everything we ordered cause we ordered a lot to share So here are some photos of what we got Highly recommend to eat at this place if you’re visiting Newport.

Came here with a group of 8 and they were super nice about seating us all! It was really fast to be seated and have our order taken at 6 pm but it got so much busier starting at 7 pm. Good: - Loved the spring rolls! What a tasty dipping sauce they came in and also loved how crunchy they were. Came in 4 rolls. - The pad see ewe was tasty too! Had a lot of flavor in each bite and noodles were nice and chewy. - Thai iced tea was too sweet for my taste buds but it was still yummy Bad: - Panang curry was a bit too watery for me - Crab fried rice didn’t have a lot of flavor. Overall was a good experience but they forgot to bring some stuff out that we wanted and we also had pretty slow service near the end of our meal.

Cozy Thai food place. I think many locals come for takeouts. Seats are limited so expect a wait if you come right at meal time. The price is not super cheap (Newport Beach isn't really a place to find something cheap), but reasonable. Dishes are tasty but the place really is small. Every time out table is over flow with dishes.... The marine park is right across the street. Parking in the park or some street parking if you're lucky. Overall, not bad😉 If you're in the area, come try it out.
