Mirchi Massala Fine Indian Cuisine

If you’re in Fresno, you should definitely stop by Mirchi Masala. As soon as we walked in, the owner Ashish personally came over, explained the menu, and told us about the food. We went with the buffet, and everything was fresh and delicious. The naan was amazing—super crispy, fresh, and homemade. Honestly, it looked almost too good to eat. Ashish stopped by our table to check on us and even asked if there was anything we thought the buffet should have. We mentioned shahi paneer, and he actually brought us some at no extra charge. That level of service is rare. The service was out of this world, the food was incredible, and the hospitality was even better. The ambience is nice and felt like a good place to go for dinners. The food itself was ok. We tried the tomato soup, palak paneer pasanda, garlic naan, rasmalai. The main course which was the curry could’ve been better. It didn’t feel any special. Everything was decent but we’ve had better.

Tried the lunch buffet at Mirchi Masala and was quite disappointed. There was no biryani included, only jeera rice, and overall the food lacked both taste and quality. The chicken curry and dal makhani were good. We ordered biryani separately, and it was served only with raita, with no salan. The service was also slow in clearing used plates from our table. Even though we were the only table, staff did not clear piled up plates unless asked. For the variety and flavor offered, the price felt too high. The food was incredibly delicious, and the service was great. The prices were fairly reasonable, and the staff was very friendly. A big plus is that they can customize your order to meet your needs, such as gluten-free and dairy-free dishes.
