Miss Monticello Diner

I've lived in Monticello for years but for some reason never got around to trying the diner. Well, I finally did last night & I was not dissapointed! I tried the country fried steak with sausage gravy. It was delicious! There was a lot of gravy on it which I didn't expect but it still tasted fine. I had some broccoli and home fries on the side, they were yummy as well. The service was great too; the employees were kind. This is a nice little place, I would definitely be returning in the future!

This place is very spectacular, benevolent and immaculate. But unfortunately the potato’s r very disappointing it made me very sad and my steak bary bary dry and over cooked. Mannnn very sad :( docking off a star sowwyyy. But immaculate service I do be liking that one very very good. Thank you come again. Oh my goodness not safe ☹️

Loved the experience here with our fairly large party of 17 people! We got hungry for lunch after a hike in the area but were unable to agree on a single cuisine. Decided to try this diner after reading the reviews. Lots of options - everyone found something they like, from bison burgers 🍔 to rice and lamb shank 🐑 to Korean steak tacos 🌮 to grilled haddock over rice 🐟 to wraps to breakfast fare. Highly recommend the Korean tacos and the lamb shanks, they stood out with their beautiful executions. Would love to return!

A great little diner in Monticello. Typical diner fare. HUGE portions, tasty breakfast. I had one biscuit with sausage gravy, glad I only ordered one, it was a Huge biscuit! Over easy egg on the side with hash browns. Delicious. The other person in my party had blueberry pancakes with bacon. Three HUGE pancakes stuffed with blueberries, nice crisp bacon. Big menu, typical of a diner! I'd go back!

A classic American diner spot only a 10-minute Uber from Resort World Catskills I was pleasantly surprised by this diner. The interior beauty harkens back to the classic American dining experience with a hint of extra class found in the wooden liveries and warm lighting. My coworkers and I came in for a late lunch and had a seamless experience that came with well informed recommendations on the menu from the polite waiter whose name unfortunately escapes me. The food was excellent, a healthy mix of classic Breakfast diner options with other home stay meals that were very fair portions for the price.
