Unlike Texas Roadhouse this sweet potato came out PERFECT!!! Pulled pork Sandy: slightly dry but very flavorful. Masssivr upgrade from the last time I had it back in NC. I am absolutely not a fan of the bun used, it is too stiff for the amount of meat on it. I recommend the Smoky Mnt or St Louis bbq sauce to moisten the meat and enhance the flavors a bit more as well. I also love the slaw, definitely tastes like a NC slaw. Unfortunately they got rid of the military discount they had back in 2020, but now you can join a Vet VIP Club and get a free dessert. It is also quite more expensive than five years ago but I think you get your moneys worth, just not a good spot if trying to spend less. They were also sweet to give me free fries and THEY HAVE CHEERWINE!!!!

Had the chopped brisket sandwich woth a side of baked beans. Sandwich had a good amount of sauce on it and the brisket was nice and moist. Beans were killer as well. 6 different additional sauces were available on the table as was a vinegar. We were also offered a free sample of the creamed corn and a chocolate brownie which were also very good. Service was quick and friendly. Staff seems well versed on the menu items. Will definitely be back

Hit up Mission BBQ in Arvada, and wow, these folks get it right. I went for the 3-meat plate (brisket, smoked sausage, and pulled pork), and every single bite was on point. Killer dry rub, perfect smoke, and just the right balance of flavor without needing to drown it in sauce. Speaking of sauces they’re all legit, but that Smoky Mountain one? 🔥 That’s the champ right there. And the Mac n’ Cheese... man, that’s next-level comfort food. Probably the best I’ve had at any BBQ spot, and I’ve been to a lot across the Midwest and South. Creamy, cheesy, and flat-out awesome. Bonus points for having Hawaiian Punch on tap didn’t see that coming, and I’m here for it. But what really makes this place stand out is their heart. Mission BBQ backs our military and first responders in a real way, not

The moist brisket was amazing! All the sauces to try are a real treat. We didn’t get to try the sausage because they had just ran out, but it just means we get to go back to try it later. I don’t know if it’s just working out some kinks but the dining room was freezing cold tonight.

This is a disappointing copoganda barbecue chain you should avoid. I expected a reasonable level of country heading into a barbecue joint but this location was full of police and military propaganda. The meat I ordered was DRY, tough, salty on the outside, and near flavorless on the inside; it was obvious my food was cooked hours ago and it was tough to eat. My brisket was dry, stringy, and cut the wrong way, the chicken was bland and the skin was rubber, and the ribs were tough, dry, and salty. The collards were bland, the cornbread was fine, the cobbler was entirely butter and sugar, and the beans and sauces were great. The staff were helpful if overeager to explain every single sauce to me.
