MISSION BBQ

On 11/13/2025 I stopped by with a pretty big group to celebrate my husband's birthday. He placed our order and as I sat down I was greeted by James (big shout-out to him). He introduced himself and offered to help push tables and chairs together for our group. He let us know he would be around in case we needed anything and told us to please leave our trays on the table as he would be going around to pick them up. The food came out super quick and it's always delicious. In the middle of dinner James delivered a birthday card addressed to my husband that was signed by all the staff. It was such a kind gesture as we didn't tell them we were celebrating his birthday and did not call ahead (they even remembered his name from the order). I recently ordered catering from Mission BBQ, and I have to say, Kyle is an amazing manager! His customer service is absolutely top-notch — he made sure everything was taken care of and that we had everything we needed to host our event. The food was fantastic, the setup was easy, and the whole experience was seamless from start to finish. Also, I loved the moment when they played the National Anthem — such a great touch that shows their pride and values. Highly recommend Mission BBQ and a big shoutout to Kyle for going above and beyond!

I have only recently heard of Mission BBQ and while in town for business this week, decided to give the California, MD, location a try.. I'm happy I did.. I'll talk atmosphere first and then transition to the food.. This location puts off an industrial lodge kind of vibe, with wafts of aroma from the smoker, and many vertical spaces adorned with military, law enforcement, and other donated patches, along with framed pictures, flags, and gear such as helmets.. Met with superior customer service, helping with our menu choice. Great food and Kyle, the Servant Heart Leader, came back multiple times to make sure we were good. Even gave us amazing brownies as first time customers. Will go to Mission BBQ again!

So about a few weeks ago we ordered food for 10 people. We were given a bag a hamburger buns, utensils, and a full squeeze bottle of BBq sauce. This time we got no buns, no utensils, and j had to ask for the BBQ and got 5 small packs. Not sure spending $180 both times and receiving different service is a great practice. Gave 2 stars bc the Foo is good but the fact it is inconsistent in service is upsetting to say the least for dropping $180
