Customer Reviews
Best pizza I've had in the Southeast and it's not even close. Salads are wonderful too, and so are the small plates. Curated wine selection that fits the cuisine perfectly. We have driven from Raleigh just to go here multiple times. Almost glad it isn't closer or we'd be there twice a week. Nope, it's not your hole in the wall joint where you pick all the toppings. Who cares. Trust the chef. Let someone who KNOWS make you something you never knew you always wanted, and enjoy one of the best things you can put in your mouth.
Best pizza I’ve ever had. We had the arugula salad, mussels, and a red and white pie, it was all coursed very nicely. Cool atmosphere, no bs they know the food speaks for itself.
Pizza is just ok nothing special. We did walk in and there was an hour and 15 min wait (which we didn’t mind walking around for a bit before dinner). The hostess said they would text us once our table was ready but never got a text so we decided to go inside after waiting a hour and 45 mins and they still didn’t have the table ready. After all that we ended up getting seated at the bar. We ordered two pizzas and a Mexican Coke. The total came out to $58 and the only tip options available were none, 20%, 22% and 25% (no option to customize) so I ended up paying $70 for two pizzas and a coke.
My husband and I are foodies and esp pizza connoisseurs. Our favorite pizza is in Tulum called Checkpoint pizza. We haven’t found any Neapolitan pizza that is up to par until we found Mission Pizza! 10/10. We did the pizza-makase. The dough is next level. The ambiance is great. The staff is superb. Definitely recommend.
I'm just here for reading the reviews. This place is like a psychology experiment. We are so used to a place being about the customer, this isn't that. If you're coming for Mission Pizza (a small business), you're coming for how they do it. You have to drop your preconceived ideas and expectations and enjoy the experience for what it is: Peyton's expression and journey with Pizza. I've had it, numerous times, and give it five stars. If you have strong opinions on how a business should operate, maybe don't go? This truly is an expression of someone's "mission" to make the best pizza, not to make you happy. You're going to spend money, but you're going to have delicious food.
