Mister Cangrejo

The food was amazing! The cazuela de marisco tasted exactly like the dish I had in Colombia. I can't wait to have it again. The only downside was the waiter. He really didn't know what he was doing. He was either overwhelmed or a newbie. We got our menus late and he also messed up how he charged our credit cards. We also ordered the sancocho de pescado and the fish had a lot of bones so you had to be very careful eating that. Also, they forgot to give me the salad that came with my dish.

Food is ok, not the best but ok it could be better if they put more effort,drinks are fine, service is really not that good, we have the dishes for like 20 after we eat & we need to call the waitress so she can take them 😎

Worst experience. I do NOT recommend this place. Finding the flavors of Colombia’s Pacific coast in New York was exciting… but the experience at Mister Cangrejo was a disaster. The singer was completely drunk, shouting instead of singing, and completely ruined the atmosphere. It was impossible to enjoy the food or have a normal conversation. On top of that, the place was full of overly intoxicated people, with no control or management from the staff. The environment was chaotic, noisy, and absolutely unpleasant. It’s a shame, because the food actually tasted good — but everything else was so bad that it’s simply not worth it. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The food was awesome but the staff sucks. The service was not good. I had to get up and ask for water. Get up to ask for check. You need to check and see if your tables need anything. Not sit with your co worker chatting. Next time I will just order.

My colleague and I popped in for dinner and drinks after a long day of work and were pleasantly surprised by the great food and amazing service! Our server Isabel and our bartender Dani were friendly, professional and customer-service superstars! The food was delicious and the drinks were excellent. We will definitely be back!
