Moby Dick House of Kabob Burtonsville

I ordered this for dinner based on the great reviews from others, but unfortunately, it wasn’t the best Middle Eastern food I’ve had. To be fair, I ordered closer to closing time, so I may have gotten what was left. I tried the joojeh kabob (buy one, get one free) and a side of lamb. Both the chicken and lamb were well-seasoned, but I wasn’t a fan of the lamb’s texture—it tasted a bit mushy. The meal came with a salad, but it wasn’t very fresh; the red onions were the freshest part, but most of the greens were soggy. The naan wasn’t freshly baked and didn’t taste very fresh either. The yogurt sauce served with the food was thinner than I prefer. Overall, the flavors were there, but the freshness and texture missed the mark for me.

I had a great experience at Moby Dick! The ground chicken kebabs were delicious—seasoned perfectly and cooked just right. Portion sizes were generous and definitely satisfying. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the place was very clean and well-kept. Will definitely be coming back!

Spent $40 on 2 plates of overglorified rice, meat and sauce. All that I can make at home. Can't even justify the price because its not like they're selling a unique experience with their mediocre food. Its just all mediocre and expensive.

I used to love this restaurant but things have changed. The amount of chicken they give you now with a chicken kabob is laughable. The “six pieces” they give you are tiny. They used to be large chunks. If you want extra chicken it’s $9 extra ! So you’ll spend almost $25. No thanks

Did a couple carry out orders since they opened in Burtonsville. The barley soup is delicious. I also got a couple of the combos with the chicken kebab, the salmon kebab, and the ground beef, Kabob. Everything was delicious. The rice was fluffy. The salad was fresh, and the meat was seasoned perfectly. The staff was very friendly and my order was ready on time. I highly recommend Moby Dick.
