Modern Bread and Bagel

I recently visited Modern Bread and Bagel and was genuinely impressed with the quality of their gluten-free offerings. As someone who knows how tough it can be to find truly good gluten-free baked goods, this spot has definitely made it into my top five. I ordered the glazed brioche donut and the cinnamon raisin bagel. The donut was a standout—the glaze was just right, sweet but not overpowering, and the donut itself had a lovely flavor. It was slightly cakey, but not in a way that made it feel like I was just eating cake in a donut shape. The cinnamon raisin bagel was also delicious. I really enjoyed the tricolor raisins and the hint of cinnamon—it struck a nice balance between sweet and subtle. Modern is literally gluten-free heaven. The bagels are unbelievable — you honestly can’t tell they’re gluten-free at all. The texture, the flavor, everything is spot on. And the desserts? Each one is better than the last. There are so many options that it’s hard to choose, and every single thing I’ve tried has been amazing. It’s such a relief to find a place where you don’t feel limited and can actually enjoy everything on the menu. Truly my favorite place and one I’ll keep going back to.

The Cinnamon French Toast Sticks with coconut is a must have. Everything is gluten free, which is the place to be for anyone with a gluten allergy or not. Cute place to sit down & have breakfast or brunch!

Incredible food and service. Donuts and bagels are the best I’ve had gluten free. Absolutely delicious. Parking can be rough, but no fault of the business. Even on a weekday at noon, there is a line and with the small waiting area, the line can be challenging. Would not recommend bringing a stroller into the location. Staff are super nice! So happy I don’t have to travel to Manhattan anymore

I ordered a bagel with a matcha and the total came out to 25 dollars. so I was expecting a high-quality breakfast instead I got a water down Matcha with a Very small clumpy amount of cold foam. The Bagel was so difficult to eat, even though the Burrata cheese was good. I would say to skip this place and avoid the social media hype because it’s not a good spot. The staff were nice, but the quality of the products was below par by a country Mile
