Small place but fun for friends . Appetizers was very good . Kimchi gyoza spicy and delicious. Chicken wings are crispy. The curry vegetable is so good no tofu add bok choy . I got the undo veggie broth but veggie style. I asked for lite on the noodles. The desserts is a must they are all good.

I ordered the spicy shoyu ramen, and it was absolutely incredible—the broth had the perfect balance of richness, heat, and depth, while the noodles were cooked just right. Every bite was comforting yet bold. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the overall vibe of the restaurant made it even better. Easily one of the best ramen spots in Jacksonville—I’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful restaurant, food was amazing, we both got the spicy tonkotsu and the spicy was just perfect enough to blend with the meal. We also got the pork gyozas and they were amazing as well. Everything freshly made. 6 gyozas came with but we couldn’t help ourselves before the photo! 😊

This is one of the best ramen shops in Jax. I've been to Japan many times and always struggle to find an authentic ramen flavor in Jax (not fusion, not Americanized ramen, just the authentic flavor); there are only a few here and Modu is one of them.
