Moe's Original BBQ

This might be a personal thing, but when I get BBQ, I like a lot of BBQ sauce. I got the pulled pork platter, and the meat barely had any sauce on it. The platter was was $15.50, which seemed steep based on the amount of food it came with. The corn bread was the jalapeno kind and was ok, the mac & cheese was also average, but the banana pudding was delicious! Definitely get that. We went while an Auburn basketball game was on, so the bar area was crowded and it was really loud inside. But that's understandable. Overall an okay experience I would say.

At walking distance from the Huntingdon Hawks football field, it's a very convenient location to grab a bite before the game. I had the smoked Turkey plate with beans and collard greens. My wife had the pulled pork plate with beans and slaw. Nice simple atmosphere. Good service. Great food.

Had the smoked wings and pulled pork. Both were cooked fine, just no real flavor or smokiness. Ended up using the sauce just to give it something. Not terrible, just pretty forgettable. Wouldn’t rush back.

Near Alabama State University. My Alma Mater! The ribs, cornbread, slaw and broccoli casserole were great and well seasoned!

Tried them for the first time. Food was good, but I couldn't believe a BBQ place ran out of ribs. Had to take a star for that one. The pulled pork and chicken were both great, but the smoked turkey was the star of the show. All of the veggies were very well seasoned and flavorful. Definitely will try again, hopefully to get ribs.
