Mojo Kitchen, BBQ Pit & Blues Bar

Big, bold restaurant with fabulous flavors. As you enter, you immediately notice the large space and decorated walls. Then the smell of BBQ hits you, and you can't wait to order. All of our food came out quickly and was delicious. Staff was great! Really loved the HUGE order of onion rings and the blackened catfish. But most all, we loved the laid back, happy vibe here. Fantastic!

This place is overall amazing! Our server was Armin and he provided exceptional service and added to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience. He was very thorough explaining the menu and made some excellent suggestions . The burnt ends were the best we have had! My husband had pulled pork shoulder and I had the St Louis spare ribs and neither of us needed sauce. The meat was tender and full of flavor. The sides were great and the sweet tea was fantastic! If you are looking for some great bbq, this is the place!!

Tried this place for the first time and really enjoyed it! The staff was so friendly and attentive, especially our server Jia. I ordered the blackened catfish and the person with me ordered the turkey. Both came out great! Good prices for the meal portions. The blues-themed decorations are nifty, and the atmosphere was cozy. I'll have to come back sometime when they have live music.

Ordered the pit smoked chicken, collard greens and sweet potato mash. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. I brought home plenty of leftovers. If you like your bourbon with a bit of a bite, give the flying peach cocktail a try, but they have several others to choose from. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive to our table. We will be back during our next trip to Jacksonville.

I was disappointed int he bbq. The burnt ends I got were very dry, and not moist at all. I had to cover them in sauce to make them go down easier. So that was a pretty big disappointment from a bbq joint. The ribs were the star of the show, decent smoke ring, moist and good flavor with no sauce needed. Under seasoned, watery sweet potato mash, similarly under seasoned slaw. The nashville hot chicken was a joke, just a piece of fried chicken. I don't know if they gave me the wrong order, or if that's how they serve it, but that's not nahshville hot chicken. Wouldn't go back, frustrated we chose to go in the first place. Plenty of parking, and friendly service.
