Mom Bamh Mi

One of the better banh mi’s in the Tenderloin. Real hole in the wall spot, local hangout spot for Vietnamese. Not much of a menu so just walk in and ask for a combination ($5)

Don't let the area or look of place fool you. Mom Bamh Mi has what it takes to thrive in TL. You come for the sandwiches not environment. There are seating and couple of tables to sit and eat. They've six type of sandwich all four dollars across the board. This shop is $.50 cheaper than their oakland location (4.50) and it's own by same family with each sister running a location of their own. My all-time favorite is pork belly the more fat the better. Although not as popular as rival on Larkin St, they're authentic. Stop by and treat yourself a banh mi your tummy will thank you.
