The food is amazing. I come every Sunday. The yams are amazing and make sure you true them sole rolls. Being from Mississippi i can say this food reminds me good southern cooking.

I ordered the turkey wing and pork chop dinners, both with greens, potato salad and Mac & cheese. The portions are generous, however, the food was under seasoned and the texture of some of the dishes was interesting. The Mac & cheese was not seasoned and, somehow soggy and dry at the same time. The greens were over cooked to the point they were almost mushy. The only seasoning I could taste in the potato salad was sugar. The baked turkey wings were burnt. They packaged the cold potato salad inside the same container the hot entree was in. I ordered a side of gravy and received a ketchup sized container of what looks like pan drippings. I really wanted to love this restaurant so I gave it a second try. Unfortunately, the second time was not the charm.

I had catfish, Mac n cheese, and cabbage. Sides taste like they came frozen/out of a can. No seasoning. Cornbread flavorless. Catfish was decent a lil oily though. Service was good though.

I’ve been going to this restaurant for 8 years , I’ve tried everything on the menu . Everything is fresh, and delicious. Nothing like a good ole home cooked meal.

I Hate to leave a review like this,but it's my honest truth. Well let's just say I will not be ordering again. I waited 30 minutes for so called fresh food. The baked Mac and cheese was unseasoned,the mixed greens unseasoned the fish was ok mild seasoning. Just not what I expected from a soul food place.
