Momo Grill

I enjoyed this restaurant so much I came back twice in one weekend so I could bring my husband to try it! The masala chai is a must-order. It’s well-spiced with the perfect little kick of flavor. I tried tandoori style chicken momos, chili lamb momos, veggie pakora, saag paneer, and salmon tikka masala. Everything I ordered was well-spiced, plated beautifully, and served quickly. And wow the flavors were incredible! The service was friendly and efficient and my server remembered me when I came back again 2 days later, which was kind of them! They even provided some tips for how to order the best preparations of momos. I highly recommend this place for their large menu with great veggie and pescatarian options as well as their meat options. There’s something for everyone!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Momo Grill is hands-down the best service I’ve experienced since moving to California - and the food was legit authentic Nepalese & Indian. We ordered the Chilli Beef Momo, Tandoori Chicken Momo, and a Mango Lassi - everything was incredibly flavorful and tasted truly authentic (even for someone like me who’s picky with flavors and used to Chinese-style “real deal” food). Since it was our first time, the staff patiently walked us through the menu, and the chef even came out twice to introduce their specialties and share a bit about Nepalese culture. I ordered dinner from this Nepali restaurant in the Sunnyvale area twice through Uber Eats. Although it’s primarily a Nepali spot, they also serve a wide range of Indian dishes, which is quite common since the two cuisines overlap a lot. The first time, I ordered steamed chicken momos (dumplings), which were good — not exactly the best I’ve had, but still decent and satisfying. I also tried a cup of chicken hot and sour soup, which was especially comforting on a chilly night. On another occasion, I ordered chicken chow mein along with chicken lollipop. The chow mein was my favorite — very similar to the street-style Hakka noodles you often find in India. The chicken lollipop, however, was not my favorite; something about the frying or seasoning felt off. Overall, it’s a fairly standard

We are so happy that Momo grill has opened a location in Sunnyvale! They make traditional authentic nepali food and we have been regularly enjoying their food for many years at the Saratoga location. Loved the ambience and the new menu items. We had panipuri, manchurian, paneer chilli, veg manchow soup, veg fried rice and rice pudding. Everything was great but the best was of course the MOMO!! Also the chai is to die for!! 🙂 Looking forward to more frequent visits to this location! 🤞🏽

I tried the tandoori momo and it was really good. nicely smoky, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. I also had the goat sekuwa, and it’s honestly one of the best I’ve had since moving to California.
