Mom's House Cafe (Nhà Của Mẹ)

We tried Com Ga Tu Xuyen, Salted Coffee & Coconut Matcha, roasted bread during soft opening. For me, the food very good, flavorful taste just right for my preference, big portion, price is decent compared to other restaurant. Would come back to try other dishes.

Bun ca Chau Doc at Mom’s house tastes just like in my hometown: light, flavorful broth and fresh fish. The matcha latte is also great, not too sweet and very smooth. Authentic flavors and made with care. I’ll definitely come back.

I’ve read other reviews and feedback, but from my personal experience with banh trang trong, it’s not really worth the hype and money. I recently visited to get their full topping banh trang tron, but the portion size was disappointing, and the price was $14 plus a 30-minute wait, even during their relaxed time. Considering the price, I’m not sure if we should go back next time. In fact, I think we could easily find it at other boba shops around Bellaire for a similar price tbh.

The bánh tráng full topping here is soooo good 😭🔥 The sauce is flavorful, the toppings are generous, and everything mixes together perfectly. It’s spicy, savory, and super addictive — definitely worth it if you love loaded bánh tráng. Also, the coworkers are so cute and friendly 🥹 They have such a positive attitude and make the whole vibe feel welcoming and fun. Good food + good energy = 10/10 experience. I’ll definitely come back again!

I ordered the rice plate and an avocado smoothie. The rice plate came out fast. I came with a group of friends. They got their drinks. One had to change her plate to something else because they ran out of stuff. The menu is small so it’s weird to run out of stuff. I’m halfway through my meal and I had to remind them for my drink. It was disgusting. Tasted like grass. Could not drink it. The avocados are clearly not ripe. I had to ask for another drink. Front cashier was nice, but the guy is not. The nuoc mat needs to be sweetened. Think boba zone. Please provide a knife for pork chops rice plates. These are suggestions. The best way is to go to other restaurants and eat out. Learn the difference in service and food quality. I really hope they improve.
