Mona Lisa's Restaurant & Bar

One of the very few places who serve food after other restaurants are closed albeit on a very limited, fried food only menu. Regardless, the chicken fingers & fries costing only $10 were delicious as were the separatetly ordered Onion Rings. And you can't beat the price of a draft beer of $4.00. Almost unheard of these days. The service was also excellent. Only down graded the atmosphere because the place is beyond plain, but food & service made it well worth it for a very hungry passenger arriving at Norfolk International close to 11 pm. There were no other places close by to grab a quick bite. Even the Harbor Inn also open until like 2 am quit serving any food at 11 pm.

I love their pizzas but they frequently get my order wrong. Usually they just leave off a topping I paid extra for which is annoying enough, but last night they somehow decided to make me a feta and PINEAPPLE pizza instead of a feta and pepperoni pizza. My husband didn’t check until he got home. So, do I make him drive another 40 minutes total to make them fix their mistake or eat this disgusting pizza? Regretfully, I ate the disgusting pizza. How do you accidentally load up a pizza with the most contentious topping possible?? Please get better at what you do.

Went today with the family. Have driven past this place hundreds of times. It's nothing fancy. First thing I see is a guy tossing dough. We ordered 2 large pizzas. These are old school large with lots of cheese. The prices are amazing. Can't wait to return.

We ordered Ziti with sausage and extra meat and a spinach stomboli with mushrooms. My husband went to pick it up. He got home and the Ziti had on sausage maybe 3" long and no extra meat and the stromboli had no mushrooms. Both of what we paid extra for. My husband called and took the food back. They took the food back and he was told we'll we ran out of mushrooms which is why we didn't put them in. Eventhough we paid extra for them. He asked for extra cheese in the new one which the cook went off asking why we don't just reheat the one we had. No explanation why we only got one whole / not even cut up sausage and no extra meat. My husband was just gone off on because they didn't give us what we paid for and he tipped in Cash when he initially picked up. Absolutely ridiculous! Awful communi

Pizza: the crust is fantastic, the pepperoni is tasty! The sauce could use a rework, it isn’t flavorful at all. The guy that makes the pizza can be a little rude, especially if you miss what he says the first time.
