Stopped here this past Friday, and decided to try the meatball hero. What captured my attention on this item was that the meatballs are made with beef, veal, and pork. Very traditional. The hero came with a beautiful house salad consisting of greens, onions, tomatoes, and olives. The hero was excellent! Very reasonably priced at $12.50. Also went with the house cut fries with garlic salt. I’m usually not impressed with fries, but these were exceptional. Reminded me of the kind I had at a 5 star resort in Mexico. The service was fantastic, and the food a real treat!😎👌 Just had another delicious meal at Mondos. Decided to try the chicken Parmigiana. Absolutely fantastic! Perfectly cooked and seasoned! That and a side of garlic bread. Even had a desert this time around. It was a true delight😎
Delicious food. Cute environment. Amazing service. A great bundle of success. Authentic and fresh made pasta sauces. Every single dish tasted amazing - calzones , pasta, tiramisu. yummm. Definitely recommend their Alfredo which is not heavy and very subtle. The calzones also are hitting the right spots. An amazing gem of a restaurant. Wish they had a better visible board though that would make it easier to identify the place from the door
Great, authentic New York Italian style restaurant! I had spinach stuffed ravioli, my wife had a penne pasta dish with mushrooms and we shared a salad with walnuts, dried cranberries, mixed greens and a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. The Italian bread was delectable. The dessert was a tough choice with Italian Cream Cake, Carrot Cake, Lemon Cream Cake and several flavors of gelato. We settled on gelato, mocha for the lady and salted caramel for me. The wait staff was, friendly, courteous and professional. The service was prompt. Well worth the stop for a relaxed, romantic dinner. Update 2 years from my last post... Ownership has changed. The new chefs still cook outstanding Italian food. We dined on Apple, Cranberry, Pecan salad with mixed greens and Gorgonzola cheese crumbles,
Waitress was good. Staff seemed friendly. Food took way longer than it should have. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich and mine was pretty much burnt. The chicken was so dry it was hard (worse than crispy chicken), had to ask for extra marinara just to make it bearable. Don't set expectations high for this place, it's merely OKAY.
Ordered take out, and the food was horrible, the mushroom ravioli looked like an appetizer, the jalapeño poppers were burnt and the chicken parmesan was dried out and rubbery not to mention the side salad was not in the order
