Monster Subs & Sandwiches

I've traveled all over the country for over 10 years working in the refineries and I love my sandwiches... My wife recently started working in gulfport and we live in Lumberton so I had her grab me a monster Italian with provolone, lettuce, oil and vinegar today. That was hands down the best best non new York deli sandwich I've ever had. That bread couldn't have been any better with just the perfect amount of chewiness. Thanks y'all for making this fat dude happy! It was supposed to be 2 meals but my fat ahh couldn't stop.

Saw this place a couple of Sundays ago coming back from church and they were closed on Sunday. Good for them. But with a name like monster subs you know I had to go back! I ran in today around 2:00...1:45 p.m. lunch rush was over. Crew was in there cleaning up and wiping stuff down and I spoke with the gentleman behind the counter and was looking for a muffaletta cuz I saw that on the menu. It's not made with that sesame bread or whatever. That round loaf is they use in New Orleans which is fine. They use a sub roll. They slap that meat on there and they slapped that Olive salad on there and then some oil and vinegar and lettuce and tremendous. Just an all around grape sandwich. We stopped in today for lunch and we were immediately greeted by the staff, and they went over how ordering works. Everything was straightforward and easy to figure out. The staff members all chatted with us while they made the food, and everyone was really nice. I got the pastrami sandwich and my husband chose the meats for his sub. You can get any toppings on any sandwich, which I really enjoy since I want different things on my sandwich depending what I'm feeling. We each got a fountain drink and a bag of chips as well. We both loved our sandwiches, and I'm already planning on what I'll get next time we are in. It will be difficult for me to switch it up because that pastrami was so good!

So my girl just got out of a med appt n was a little loopy. We decided to try this place so she could get some food in her tummy. Neither of us had been in prior. Alot of information on their over the counter menu, sign with a special out front, other papers posted with menu items, sides, etc. Very confusing to me and I'm sober lol. Not a lot of people in there and we trying to figure things out n what we want. My girl taking longer than usual too but I'm guessing the dood with long hair was in a hurry n was tryna rush us along. My girl ends up ordering a 15.00 corn beef sammich even tho she kept trying to explain to them she wanted something small. I ordered the Italian after another employee explained that their special sign was for a hot dog and not a sub even tho it said 6" sub on the

Tried for the first time with my wife. It did not disappoint. Very friendly service and the ingredients are top notch. We split a Monster Italian and it was delicious and more than enough for the both of us. We would highly recommend.
