I ordered an oxtail beef patty!!! I do not live close to this establishment, I was soooo upset when I got home and seen the mess I was given!!! They charged me $17 for a beef patty and oxtail gravy!!! Wasn’t no meat in it!! It’s like they took all the oxtails out then gave me the leftovers!! I called their phone about 10 times trying to get in contact!!! Not one answered!!! It’s disgusting how they really did that! Trying to support black businesses and this is how they treat you!!! SMH

Fantastic food! First tried them last Halloween and have been a repeat customer since. Their patties are an absolute must. Beef or chicken, they are well seasoned, flavorful, and fresh. They even sell an Oxtail patty that was stuffed and incredible. I’ve also tried the Jerk brisket and Jerk Chicken and they are proper spicy and delicious. I tend to buy through DoorDash and can also say that in my experience(10+ orders), the Food is packaged well. Would definitely recommend to those looking for some great Jamaican food.

I just stopped by today to get myself a treat. I don't eat out often for health purposes. I tried the Jerk Chicken lunch. Excellent. Rivals GOLDEN CRUST (which I thought was the end-all-be-all for Caribbean cusine. So happy their in my neighborhood. The Jerk Chicken has that wonderful seasoning; the hot is perfect (my lips still feel the heat after 2 regular bites and my tongue is enjoying the flavor). Highly Recommended. Will be my regular treat. Keep up the good work and please kiss the chef. Respectfully 🙂

I am currently 8 months pregnant, lived in the neighborhood for over 2 decades & this is the first REAL Jamaican restaurant we’ve had on East Tremont. I came in for the first time last Friday to satisfy my cornmeal porridge craving, and let me just tell you it was ABSOLUTELY amazing, for it to be the first time having “Instant Porridge” which they offer for you to make it at home yourself. Today i returned with my sister she got the oxtail beef patty with coco bread and a bun cheese, while i had the oxtail with rice and peas dinner. Let’s just say this food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ALL ACROSS THE BOARD SO FAR & WE WILL BE BACK! I love that it’s a family oriented business and I’m glad they’re in the neighborhood. Wonderful service and amazing food.

i have never written a review but this one is the one and only exception. I had been raving to my friends that there’s a new jamaican spot by my house and the menu alone looked incredible and the day came where we finally were able to splurge and get ourselves what we wanted for movie night. And O M G. the jerk brisket was everything we had ever wanted and more. so greatly spiced and juicy to perfection and every bite was just the closest thing to heaven on earth. the chicken patties were so perfect it felt like i was back home in the islands by the waters enjoying my patty with peace and everything tranquil in between. my first time having ackee and saltfish rice and my god it exceeded my expectations in most ways then one it was just so good i didn’t want it to end. yall won us over
