Monterrey Mexican Restaurant

My husband and I come here often. My coworker buys us food from here a lot. And just last weekend I brought my mom and her bff’s for a birthday celebration. Marvin was our server and as usual is customer service is Always superb!

The food chefs kiss truly authentic Mexican food !!! I tried the El combo it was sooooooo good . Also had the nachos texanos it comes with chicken steak AND shrimp for only $13.50!!!! Please run don’t walk ask for Marvin he was super sweet and answered all my questions about what items I ordered!!

The surrounding isn't grand but it's energetic as locals come for lunch and business meetings take place while eating some good Mexican food. I am basing this on lunch as that's what I had. They had a special for lunch steak or chicken and it had chicken with peppers and onions and a cream sauce. It was good. The chips and salsa was good too. The service was good and I liked the small and family owned atmosphere. The lunch prices are reasonable.

I came here a while ago looking for good Mexican food. We had 2 margaritas and 2 entrees. Was slightly underwhelmed by the food, and the drinks were okay. I appreciated the authentic vibes here but the english menu's prices were crazy. You'd expect these prices elsewhere but not on buford hwy. Maybe I'll give it a second try...

Great local Mexican restaurant. Most of the employees have been here years. The tacos are great, but not the best thing on the menu. Order the quesabirria plate something amazing. I ate here for years before trying the birria, now that is all that I order. They have vegitarian dishes as well, but why are you going to a Mexican restaurant if you are vegitarian?
