Montielle Cafe & Restaurant

Went here with my family today. Here in Montielle, the food was excellent, very flavorful and the drinks are amazing. I recommend the chocolate Montielle, it has the perfect level of cacao and sweetness , so much flavor. We brought home some bakery items and their arroz con leche, both were very delicious.The service was excellent and welcoming. I’m a server myself and I felt very satisfied with the service I was getting. 10/10.

From the moment you enter, you’re welcomed with a wholesome, inviting atmosphere. The décor beautifully showcases the charm and cultural richness of Ecuador. The morocho and cinnamon roll complemented each other perfectly. If I could leave infinite stars, I would without any hesitation!

The food was great we got encebollado & chaulafan. Really cute decorations good service! Would definitely come back.

So I went here on Friday 2/20 to get a seco de chivo & salchipapas & bolon de trigo de queso and morrocho. Everything was okay in food expect the bolon of queso de trigo. I really didn’t feel like the food was authentic Ecuadorian but it was good over all expect that one thing. I support local family owned restaurants a lot starting from scratch so my advise is because idk if anyone else checks when they order food for take out they see what they are paying. I was about to pay for my order to take out when I see they were charging me automatically for gratuity of party of 2+. I let the lady cashier know hey why I’m being charge for that when I’m not dinning in and she said is taxes at first I said no it’s not that a tip & then she said oh it’s because that goes to the people in the back t
